Topic 1b (Extra) - Hazard models - Clustering
In this video Dr Claire Souch explores the phenomenon of clustering of windstorm events. Clustering is when more than one extratropical cyclone occurs very close together. She also discusses how these events can come together in time and space, thereby dramatically increasing the insured losses that are sustained by the insurance industry.
