Topic 2c- Finding detail in the snow-pack (part 2) - Radar and airborne measurements
This topic will explain in more depth how the limited information available about the snow-pack from an individual pixel in satellite data, can be significantly enhanced by corroborating it with ground-based measurements of the structure of the snow-pack at specific validation points. You will also learn about the typical structures within the snow-pack and what these can reveal.
